As a speechwriter I’ve written for some of the biggest names in finance. But sometimes I need a space for my own thoughts and opinions. I’m a Londoner living in United States, a mother of two, a wife of one, an avid reader, and a lightening-speed writer.

I studied gender theory at the London School of Economics, but I became increasingly frustrated with the gap between academia, feminist theory and my own experience. In 2011 I started writing about it and this blog was born. As I got married, had children, and forged a career spanning two countries and two coasts the frustration grew. Here you’ll find thoughtful comment on gender, politics and quite often gender and politics.

I’ve written for a number of publications including Time, Forbes and Mashable.
